Kami Nedbalek joined the Law Office of James W. Voldberding in 2011. Ms. Nedbalek graduated from Texas Tech School of Law in 1996 where she was a Law Review Articles Editor. Her dedication to her studies earned her a place on the Deans List; she was also a Regents Merit Scholarship Recipient. As an undergraduate and graduate student, Ms. Nedbalek attended West Texas State University, where she earned a B.A. in English in 1983 and an M.A. in English in 1989. She has a Texas Provisional Teaching Certificate in Secondary English and History, and has taught at many of Texas’s excellent public schools and universities, including her alma mater, Texas Tech. Prior to joining the Law Office of James W. Volberding, Ms. Nedbalek was a sole practitioner, honing her skills in handling federal appeals of Social Security disability claims. From 1997 until 2010, Ms. Nedbalek was a pro se staff attorney for the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas, Ms. Nedbalek worked on habeas corpus and prisoner civil rights issues, as well as Social Security disability claims appeals. Ms. Nedbalek has one son and one daughter. She is a dedicated athlete who competes in triathlons, and has finished an Ironman Triathlon. She is a member of the East Texas Trialthletes team. |
